Many stakeholders working in the BMOC space face numerous communication challenges and are not aware that other people are not familiar with the stakeholders’ culture and have difficulty understanding their cultural norms. This session is for individuals and organizations looking to partner or operate as allies, and will provide participants with cultural awareness techniques to apply in their cross-cultural communication, with the primary goal of creating a dialogue of understanding and avoiding misguided language cues that negatively affect relationships.
